Describes a method for the determination of the gross calorific value, at constant volume, of coal and coke by using bomb calorimeters of the adiabatic and automatic isothermal type.
Scope
This Standard sets out a method for the determination of the gross calorific value, at constant volume, of coal and coke using bomb calorimeters of the adiabatic and automatic isothermal type. This Standard has been prepared for these systems and is to be used in conjunction with manufacturers' instructions for those units.
