Scope
This Standard specifies the particular requirements for the design, manufacture, guarding and use of bandsawing machines used in the manufacture of components for joinery, furniture and the like. It is to be read in conjunction with AS 4024.1 and AS 1473.2, which contain general requirements.This Standard does not apply to bandsaws used for the primary milling of logs.
