AS/RISSB 7503.6:2014

AS 7503 Railway Rolling Stock – Train Identification and Integrity Part 6 – Whole of Train describes the train integrity requirements for Australian operations. This standard includes minimum requirements for train inspection and "carding" requirements for vehicles requiring repair. This document applies to trains and vehicles in trains. Network safeworking rules and route standards may apply in addition to this standard. Trains used on light rail, cane railways, monorail networks and road rail vehicles (RRVs) are not covered by this standard. Heritage rolling stock operating on a railway solely under the control of the Rolling Stock Operator of that heritage rolling stock, and heritage rolling stock operating on a railway under the control of another Rolling Stock Operator solely operating heritage rolling stock, is not covered by this standard.
