Available for the first time, an in-line inspection personnel qualification and certification standard developed by the American Society for Nondestructive Testing and approved by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). The standard was created to establish minimum requirements for qualification and certification of personnel whose jobs demand specific knowledge of the technical principles of in-line inspection technologies, operations, regulatory requirements and industry standards as applicable to pipeline systems. The employer based standard includes qualification and certification for Levels I, II and III.
