ASTM F661-92
Withdrawn Standard: Practice for Particle Count and Size Distribution Measurement in Batch Samples for Filter Evaluation Using an Optical Particle Counter (Withdrawn 2001)
ASTM F661
Scope
1.1 This practice covers procedures for determination of particle concentration and particle size distribution in batch samples from filter influent and effluent liquid streams. Challenge materials may be suspensions of standard test dusts or of monosize particles.
1.2 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety problems, if any, associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety and health practices and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use.
