This International Standard specifies a method for determining the cone penetration of lubricating greases at low temperatures.

NOTE 1 Precision has only been determined in the temperature range −40 °C to −20 °C. This International Standard may be used at other temperatures, e.g. −20 °C to +20 °C, however precision has not been determined under these conditions.

NOTE 2 The cone penetration is expressed in units of 0,1 mm.
