This document provides guidelines on a method for ship’s data collection for ships 5 000 GT and above, in order to collect the data required pursuant to regulation 22A of MARPOL Annex VI. The practical method for data collection, such as distance travelled and hours underway, and the method used to measure fuel oil consumption, are specified in this document.
