Analysis for iron (up to 10 μg/g each), cobalt, nickel, zinc (up to 20 μg/g each) and chromium (up to 15 μg/g) in high purity copper, by dissolution of the sample in nitric acid and determination of the elements by atomic absorption spectrophotometry, by means of a discrete volume nebulization system.
