Description

This Standard applies to the measurement of sound levels from agricultural tractors and agricultural machines with net engine po0wer greater than 15kW. This Standard outlines procedures for the measurement of the exterior machine sound levels in normal transport mode. This Standard outlines procedures for the measurements of the operator station sound levels. Sound levels obtained by using the procedures of Clauses 5 and 6 are repeatable and are representative of the higher range of sound levels generated by machines in actual operation. These procedures permit 95% of the A-weighted sound levels determined for the same machines to be within +2 dB when measured by different observes and instruments at different test sites.
