VDI/VDE 2653 Part 3:2020 Edition

This standard contains case studies from industry and universities regarding the use of multi-agent systems in various fields of application. These case studies in each case present not only the problem to be solved in the particular field of application together with the initial situation but also the corresponding solution using agents, the benefits these provide, and also what has been learnt from the case. The user group at which this standard is aimed includes users and developers of software systems in industrial automation. The standard serves as a decision-making aid when development or application of multi-agent systems in industrial automation is being considered.
