Description

This Standard defines the requirements for bodies operating certification systems for personnel who perform machinery condition monitoring, identify machine faults, and recommend corrective action.

Procedure for the certification of condition monitoring and diagnostic personnel is specified.

These requirements are in addition to those of JIS Q 17024.

NOTE : The International Standard corresponding to this Standard is as follows.

ISO 18436-1:20C4 Condition monitoring and diagnoses of machines— Requirements for training and certification of personnel—Pert 1: Requirements for certifying bodies and the certification process (IDT)

In addition, symbols which demo the degree of correspondence in the contents between tie relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/ IEC Guide 21.
