This Standard specifies the pressure-sensitive polyvinyl chloride tapes applied for electrical purposes (hereafter referred to as "tapes").

NOTE: The International Standard corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows.

IEC 60454-3-1: 2002 Pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes for electrical purposes-Part 3: Specifications for individual materials-Sheet 1: PVC film tapes with pressure-sensitive adhesive (MOD)

The symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/ IEC Guide 21-1.
