This Standard specifies the safety and interchangeability requirements, together with the test methods and conditions, required to show compliance of self-ballasted fluorescent lamps with integrated means for controlling starting and stable operation, intended for domestic and similar general lighting purposes, having:
ā a rated wattage: up to 60 W;
ā a rated input voltage: a.c. (50 Hz or 60 Hz), 100 V to 250 V;
ā cap: E-type, B-type and GX53.
