Changes to the 2012 NFPA 2113: Standard on Selection, Care, Use, and Maintenance of Flame-Resistant Garments for Protection of Industrial Personnel Against Flash Fire include: Scope and sections pertaining to the workplace hazard assessment have been modified to reflect that flame-resistant garments for industrial personnel can protect against other types of short-duration flame exposure. Additional Annex text was created to describe other types and possible sources of short-duration flame exposure. Definitions were updated to be consistent with the 2012 NFPA 2112 and the NFPA® Glossary of Terms.
