Description

Specifies a range of pipe threads from 1/16 to 6 for pressure-tight joints together with thread forms, dimensions and tolerances, and designations. Includes appendices for recommended gauging systems and methods of use of gauges. Requirements are given for jointing threads for taper external threads, taper or parallel internal threads and for long-screw threads for long-screws specified in BS 1387.
