DEFINITIONS
UCITY CODE. The Code of Ordinances, Houston, Texas.
UCITY FEE SCHEDULE. The schedule of fees charged by the city for various permits, licenses, authorizations and services, which schedule is maintained on the city’s website.
UCONSTRUCTION CODE. The City of Houston Construction Code, consisting of the Building Code, Electrical Code, Mechanical Code, Plumbing Code, Residential Code, Commercial Energy Conservation Code, and Residential Energy Conservation Code.

UFinish Grade. The final grade of the site that conforms to the approved plan.
URough Grade. The stage at which the grade approximately conforms to the approved plan.
UGRADING. Any excavating or filling or combination thereof.
USOIL. Naturally occurring superficial deposits overlying bedrock.
