Description

This First Edition ULC Standard has been reaffirmed effective February, 2016. There have been no technical changes made to the Standard.

These requirements cover burglary-resistant safes classified into 2 Types and 10 Classes.

At the manufacturer's option, a suffix 'D' may be used in one of the Types to denote a safe with a deposit mechanism which has been subjected to the full test for the Class. An 'E' suffix may be used in one of the Types to denote a safe which has been tested for explosive resistance.
