Rated wattage: 60 W or under

Rated voltage: over 50 V up to and including 250 V in a.c. or d.c.

Cap: Type E (E26/25)

This Standard is not applicable to those self-ballasted LED-lamps that are produced intentionally to have a light source colour other than those of LED specified in JIS Z 9112.

]]>
This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the performance requirements, test methods and test conditions of self-ballasted LED-lamps of over 50 V to and including 250 V in power supply voltage that is used for household use or similar general lighting, and is integrated with a device that performs lighting operation stably.

The range of self-ballasted LED-lamps applicable to this Standard are as follows.

– Rated lamp power: 60 W or under

– Rated input voltage: over 50 V to and including 250 V in a.c. or d.c.

– Cap: Type E (Ell, E12/15, E14/20, E17/20, E26/25), Type B (B22d) and GX53

The maximum lamp outline and the luminous flux of self-ballasted LED-lamp for the purpose of substitution for an existing lamp shall be in accordance with JIS C 7501, JIS C 7523, JIS C 7525 or JIS C 7530.

Furthermore, the luminous flux shall satisfy the value of total luminous flux of a lamp to be substituted or bottom hemisphere flux when a cap is turned upward.

This Standard is not applicable to the self-ballasted LED-lamp produced intentionally in which coloured light that is not included in JIS Z 9112 is used as a chromaticity.

Furthermore, it is also not applicable to the bulb-shaped lamp in which OLED (organic EL) is used as a light source.

These requirements are related only to the type test.

The recommendations for a 100 % testing and a batch test are under study.

These performance requirements are added to the requirements in JIS C 8156.

NOTE 1 When a self-ballasted LED-lamp is attached to a luminaire and lighted, the performances may differ from the values specified in this Standard.

The self-ballasted LED-lamp that conforms to this Standard is activated on the luminaire specified in JIS C 8105-1 and needs to be operated satisfactorily in the environment where the voltage is 92 % to 106 % of the rated voltage and the ambient temperature is – 10°C to 40 °C.

NOTE 2 This Standard refers to the following draft proposal of which the comment collection is in an end stage in the IEC SC34A committee as of December 20th, 201l.

IEC TR 63158:2018(E) describes an objective stroboscopic effect visibility (SVM) meter, which can be applied for performance testing of lighting equipment under different operational conditions.
The stroboscopic effects considered in this document are limited to the objective assessment by a human observer of visible stroboscopic effects of temporal light modulation of lighting equipment in general indoor applications, with typical indoor light levels (> 100 lx) and with moderate movements of an observer or nearby handled object (< 4 m/s). Details on restriction of the applicability of the stroboscopic effect visibility measure is given in Clause A.1.
The contents of the corrigendum of July 2018 have been included in this copy.

IEC TR 63139:2018(E) is related to the insulation coordination in TC 34 standards and provides explanations on mathematical addition of working voltages, insulation between circuits, use of protective extra low voltage (PELV) and insulation between LV supply and control line conductors in order to cover new technologies associated with the use of LED light sources and controllable products.
It describes in which way the addition of supply voltages and working voltages can be arranged for an assessment of the electrical insulation requirements (e.g. creepage distances and clearances) in a system if a first failure occurs.
