This Standard consists of the preparation, sampling (or monitoring) of air in the ETC, storage and analysis, and calculation and reporting of emission rates.

In Annex A, monochrome and colour print patterns for use in the operating phase of the hard copy devices are specified.

In Annex B, the approximation equation led from the generalised model is described.

The determination may be according to the additional requirements identified by "RAL-UZ-122 Option".

The emission rates determined with this method may be used to compare equipment in the same class.

Predictions of "real indoor" concentrations from the determined emission rates are outside of the scope of this Standard.
