Published By Publication Date Number of Pages
ISO 2010-02 24
]]>
ISO/TS 27469:2010 specifies a method for determining the following:

  1. ability of fire dampers installed in ventilation systems to prevent the spread of fire and heat through designated fire divisions; typical ratings are given in ISO 13702:1999, Table C.5.
  2. fire damper operational reliability in the petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries, particularly offshore installations;
  3. ability of fire dampers installed in ventilation systems to withstand blast overpressures that may result from the explosion of a flammable gas.

ISO/TS 27469:2010 applies to different start-up operations for different types of furnace and, therefore, tolerances in test conditions at the beginning of the test are not described in detail. The fire test enables only a limited assessment of the actuating mechanism being carried out and additional tests can be necessary to fully evaluate its operational reliability.

This document establishes a common basis for, and assistance in, the classification of applications and multiphase meters, as well as guidance and recommendations for the implementation and use of such meters.

The so-called in-line multiphase flow meters (MPFMs) that directly measure the oil, water and gas flow rates, as well as the partial- and full-separation MPFMs are the main focus of this document. Conventional two- or three-phase separators are not included in this document. Only limited reference is made to wet-gas meters, since although wet-gas flow is a subset of multiphase flow, wet-gas measurement is covered by ISO/TR 11583 and ISO/TR 12748.

ISO/TS 16901:2015 provides a common approach and guidance to those undertaking assessment of the major safety hazards as part of the planning, design, and operation of LNG facilities onshore and at shoreline using risk-based methods and standards, to enable a safe design and operation of LNG facilities. The environmental risks associated with an LNG release are not addressed in this Technical Specification.

Published By Publication Date Number of Pages
ISO 2014-08 96
]]>
ISO/TS 16530-2:2014 provides requirements and methods to the oil and gas industry to manage well integrity during the well operational phase.

The operational phase is considered to extend from handover of the well after construction, to handover prior to abandonment. This represents only the period during the life cycle of the well when it is being operated.

ISO/TS 16530-2:2014 includes:

? A description of the processes required to assess and manage risk within a defined framework. The risk assessment process also applies when deviating from ISO/TS 16530-2:2014.

? The process of managing well integrity by operating wells in compliance with operating limits for all well types that are defined based on exposure of risk to people, environment, assets and reputation. The management of well integrity is supported by associated maintenance/monitoring plans, technical reviews and the management of change.

? The assessment of existing assets (wells / fields) in order to start the process of Well Integrity Management in accordance with ISO/TS 16530-2:2014.

? The handover process required when changing from one activity to another during the operational phase.

ISO/TS 16530-2:2014 applies to all wells that are utilized by the oil and gas industry, regardless of their age, type or location.

This document provides procedures for assessment of casing connections for those field applications in which the operating temperatures cyclically vary between minimum values appreciably below 180 °C and maximum values that range from 180 °C to 350 °C or above, and in which the primary axial loading on the casing-connection system is strain-based and driven by constrained thermal expansion and leads to a stress state that exceeds the casing-connection system's yield envelope.

NOTE This document can be considered complementary to ISO 13679 (and its core content per API Specification 5C5), which applies to classic elastic-design applications.

This document contains an evaluation procedure for a candidate connection comprising of uniquely defined pin, box and interfacial components. The evaluation procedure includes:

—    Material property tests to assess relevant properties of the candidate connection pin and box components;

—    Analytical tasks to determine configuration of connection samples for physical tests, which are chosen based on worst-case combinations of the connection geometry and material properties;

—    Full-scale testing tasks to measure the candidate connection galling resistance, structural integrity and sealability under loading representative of connection assembly and thermal well service.

This document does not address impacts of external pressure, incomplete lateral pipe support, rotational fatigue, formation-induced shear, or environmentally-induced corrosion or cracking.

Clause 6 describes fundamental assumptions adopted in this document.
