The equivalent Unified Numbering System alloy designations are in accordance with Practice E 527 .<\/p>\n<p id=\"s00005\">1.4 Unless the order specifies the M specification designation, the material shall be furnished to the inch-pound units.<\/p>\n<p id=\"s00006\">1.5 For acceptance criteria for inclusion of new aluminum and aluminum alloys and their properties in this specification, see Annex A1 and Annex A2.<\/p>\n<p id=\"s00007\">1.6 <span class=\"italic\"><span class=\"italic\">Units<\/span><\/span> The values stated in either SI units or inch-pound units are to be regarded separately as standard. The values stated in each system may not be exact equivalents; therefore, each system shall be used independently of the other. Combining values from the two systems may result in nonconformance with the standard.<\/p>\n<p>1.7 <span class=\"italic\">This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use.
