2006 <em>NFPA 220 <\/em> is now an extract document of <em>NFPA 5000\u00ae: Building Construction and Safety Code\u00ae, <\/em>Section 7.2.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Changes to this edition include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Chapter 4: Types of Building Construction (based on <em>NFPA 5000 <\/em>, Sections 7.2-7.2.6) has been expanded to include special requirements for the various types of construction<\/li>\n<li>A new Chapter 5 has been added to address Fire Resistance Rating Requirements for Structural Elements (based on <em>NFPA 5000 <\/em>, Section 7.2.7).<\/li>\n<li>Editorial
