1.1<\/span> This test method covers the ability of turbine, hydraulic, and gear oils to separate entrained air.<\/p>\n

Note 1:<\/span> This test method was developed for hydrocarbon based oils. It may be used for some synthetic fluids; however, the precision statement applies only to hydrocarbon based oils.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

1.2<\/span> The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard. No other units of measurement are included in this standard.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
