{"id":220329,"date":"2024-10-19T14:17:59","date_gmt":"2024-10-19T14:17:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/bs-en-163612013a12016\/"},"modified":"2024-10-25T07:42:48","modified_gmt":"2024-10-25T07:42:48","slug":"bs-en-163612013a12016","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/bsi\/bs-en-163612013a12016\/","title":{"rendered":"BS EN 16361:2013+A1:2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This European Standard specifies requirements and test\/assessment\/calculation methods for external and internal power operated pedestrian doorsets, other than swing type, initially designed for installation with power operation <i>deleted text<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>Such doorset constructions may be operated electro-mechanically, electro-hydraulically or pneumatically.<\/p>\n<p>These doorsets include power operated pedestrian sliding doorsets, revolving doorsets, balanced (sliding\/swing) doorsets and folding doorsets with one or more horizontally moving leaves.<\/p>\n<p>This European Standard applies to power operated pedestrian doorsets with flush or panelled leaves, complete with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>integral fanlights, if any;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"non-normative-note\">\n<div class=\"note-label\">\n  NOTE&nbsp;1\n <\/div>\n<p>A fanlight is a panel over a door which is part of the doorset.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>side panels that are contained within a single frame for inclusion in a single aperture, if any.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The intended uses of the products covered by this European Standard are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>doorsets for external use in escape routes and other declared specific uses and\/or uses subject to other specific requirements, in particular noise, energy, tightness and safety-in-use in construction works;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>doorsets for internal use in escape routes, communication and other declared specific uses and\/or uses subject to other specific requirements, in particular noise and safety-in-use in construction works;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>doorsets for internal use in escape routes, communication and other declared specific uses and\/or uses subject to other specific requirements, in particular noise, energy and safety-in-use in construction works.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The products covered by this European Standard are not assessed for structural applications of the building.<\/p>\n<p>This European Standard does not cover operation in environments where the electromagnetic disturbances are outside the range of those specified in <span class=\"std\"> <span class=\"std-ref\">EN&nbsp;61000\u20116\u20112<\/span> <\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>This European Standard does not apply to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>external pedestrian doorsets according to <span class=\"std\"> <span class=\"std-ref\">EN&nbsp;14351\u20111<\/span> <\/span>;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>internal pedestrian doorsets according to <span class=\"std\"> <span class=\"std-ref\">prEN&nbsp;14351\u20112<\/span> <\/span>;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>fire resistance and\/or smoke control characteristics according to <span class=\"std\"> <span class=\"std-ref\">EN&nbsp;16034<\/span> <\/span>;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>deleted text<\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>lifts doorsets;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>vehicles doorsets;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>doorsets used in industrial processes;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>doorsets in partition walls;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>doorsets outside the reach of people (such as crane gantry fences);<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>turnstiles;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>platform doorsets.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This European Standard does not cover special functions of doorsets (e.g. security, fire aspects in banks, airports, etc.).<\/p>\n<p>This European Standard does not deal with any specific requirements on noise emitted from power operated doorsets, other than swing type, initially designed for installation with power operation <i>deleted text<\/i> as their noise emission is not considered to be a relevant hazard.<\/p>\n<div class=\"non-normative-note\">\n<div class=\"note-label\">\n  NOTE&nbsp;2\n <\/div>\n<p>Noise emission of power operated doorsets, other than swing type, initially designed for installation with power operation <i>deleted text<\/i> is not a significant hazard for the users of these products.
