{"id":226497,"date":"2024-10-19T14:43:17","date_gmt":"2024-10-19T14:43:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/bs-en-62841-3-102015\/"},"modified":"2024-10-25T08:40:24","modified_gmt":"2024-10-25T08:40:24","slug":"bs-en-62841-3-102015","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/bsi\/bs-en-62841-3-102015\/","title":{"rendered":"BS EN 62841-3-10:2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This clause of Part&nbsp;1 is applicable, except as follows:<\/p>\n<p><i>Addition:<\/i><\/p>\n<p>This part of <span class=\"std\"> <span class=\"std-ref\">IEC&nbsp;62841<\/span> <\/span> applies to transportable <b>cut-off machines<\/b> intended to cut materials such as metals, concrete and masonry and to be fitted with one abrasive<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><b>bonded reinforced wheel<\/b> of Type&nbsp;41, or<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><b>diamond cut-off wheel<\/b> with the peripheral gaps, if any, not exceeding 10&nbsp;mm<\/p>\n<p>and with<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>a <b>rated no-load speed<\/b> not exceeding a peripheral speed of the wheel of 100&nbsp;m\/s with the maximum wheel diameter and<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>a wheel diameter range of 250&nbsp;mm to 410&nbsp;mm.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This standard does not apply to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>transportable mitre saws;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>transportable tile saws;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>transportable metal saws.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"non-normative-note\">\n<div class=\"note-label\">\n  NOTE&nbsp;101\n <\/div>\n<p>Transportable mitre saws are covered by <span class=\"std\"> <span class=\"std-ref\">IEC&nbsp;62841\u20113\u20119<\/span> <\/span>. Transportable tile saws will be covered by a future part of <span class=\"std\"> <span class=\"std-ref\">IEC&nbsp;62841\u20113<\/span> <\/span>.
