intended to be used in electrically powered industrial trucks.<\/p>\n<p>1.2 This standard is limited to electrically powered industrial trucks and is applicable to material-handling equipment, e.g. forklifts.<\/p>\n<p>1.3 This standard applies to gaseous hydrogen-fuelled fuel cell power systems and direct methanol fuel cell power systems for electrically powered industrial trucks.<\/p>\n<p>1.4 The following fuels are considered within the scope of this standard:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>gaseous hydrogen<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>methanol.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>1.5 This standard covers the fuel cell power system as defined in <span class=\"xref\">3.8<\/span> and <span class=\"xref\">Figure&nbsp;1<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>1.6 This standard applies to d.c. type fuel cell power systems, with a rated output voltage not exceeding 150&nbsp;V d.c. for indoor and outdoor use.<\/p>\n<p>1.7 This standard covers fuel cell power systems whose fuel source container is permanently attached to either the industrial truck or the fuel cell power system.<\/p>\n<p>1.8 The following are not included in the scope of this standard:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>detachable type fuel source containers;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>hybrid trucks that include an internal combustion engine;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>reformer-equipped fuel cell power systems;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>fuel cell power
