The types are defined in <span class=\"xref\">Clause&nbsp;3<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>They are suitable for use with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>hydraulic fluids in accordance with <span class=\"std\"> <span class=\"std-ref\">ISO&nbsp;6743\u20114<\/span> <\/span> with the exception of HRD R, HFD S and HFD at temperatures ranging from -40&nbsp;\u00b0C to 100&nbsp;\u00b0C;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>water-based fluids at temperatures ranging from -40&nbsp;\u00b0C to&nbsp;+70&nbsp;\u00b0C;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>water at temperature ranging from 0&nbsp;\u00b0C to&nbsp;+70&nbsp;\u00b0C.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The European Standard does not include requirements for end fittings. It is limited to the performance of hoses and hose assemblies.<\/p>\n<div class=\"non-normative-note\">\n<div class=\"note-label\">\n  NOTE&nbsp;1\n <\/div>\n<p>The hoses are not suitable for use with castor oil based and ester based fluids.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"non-normative-note\">\n<div class=\"note-label\">\n  NOTE&nbsp;2\n <\/div>\n<p>Hoses and hose assemblies are not be operated outside the limits of this standard.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"non-normative-note\">\n<div class=\"note-label\">\n  NOTE&nbsp;3\n <\/div>\n<p>Requirements for hydraulic hoses for underground mining are standardized in separate standards.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><b>Rubber hoses and hose assemblies.
