It establishes test assertions pertaining to the structure of the iris image data format as specified in <span class=\"xref\">Clause 6<\/span>, <span class=\"xref\">7<\/span>, <span class=\"xref\">8<\/span> and <span class=\"xref\">9<\/span> of this part of <span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">ISO\/IEC 39794<\/span><\/span>, test assertions pertaining to internal consistency by checking the types of values that may be contained within each field, and semantic test assertions.<\/p>\n<p>The conformance testing methodology specified in this part of <span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">ISO\/IEC 39794<\/span><\/span> does not establish<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>tests of other characteristics of biometric products or other types of testing of biometric products (e.g. acceptance, performance, robustness, security),<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>tests of conformance of systems that do not produce data records conforming to the requirements of this part of <span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">ISO\/IEC 39794<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This part of <span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">ISO\/IEC&nbsp;39794<\/span><\/span> does not establish<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>requirements on the optical specifications of cameras, or<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>requirements on photometric properties of iris images, or<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>requirements on enrolment processes, workflow and use of iris equipment.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><b>BS ISO\/IEC 39794-6.
