B30.1 includes provisions that apply to the construction, operation, inspection, testing, and maintenance of mechanical ratchet jacks, hand- or power-operated mechanical screw jacks, hand- or power-operated hydraulic jacks, air lifting bags, industrial rollers, air casters, telescopic hydraulic gantry systems, and strand jacks Not included in this Volume are jacks designed for automotive service, trip-lowered jacks, jacks designed for static support rather than load handling, and jacks, industrial rollers, air lifting bags or air casters that are an integral part of other equipment.<\/p>\n
