Use in these situations may involve extreme conditions of weather or terrain. Additional\/alternative requirements for <i>manually powered<\/i> <i>suction<\/i> equipment intended for <i>field use<\/i> or <i>transport use<\/i> are included in this part of <span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">ISO&nbsp;10079<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">ISO&nbsp;10079<\/span><\/span> Part&nbsp;4 specifies general requirements for all medical <i>suction<\/i> equipment covered by the <span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">ISO&nbsp;10079 series<\/span><\/span> and is used as the basis for this Part&nbsp;2.<\/p>\n<p>The exemptions listed in <span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">ISO&nbsp;10079-4<\/span> Clause 1<\/span> shall apply.
