This document specifies aerodynamic, acoustic and electrical power performance test methods for unidirectional ventilation units used in residential ventilation systems.<\/p>\n

This document is applicable to ventilation units:<\/p>\n

    installed on a wall or in a window without any duct, A category;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    installed in the upstream of a duct, B category;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    installed in the downstream of a duct, C category;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

    installed in a duct, or with duct connection upstream and downstream, D category;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  5. \n

    with one or several inlets\/outlets;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  6. \n

    installed in a system with a heat pump for domestic hot water or water for cooling or heating;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  7. \n

    which can be used for supply or exhaust.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    This document does not apply to:<\/p>\n

      fan assisted cowls which are tested according to EN 13141?5<\/span><\/span> ;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    2. \n
