This document specifies test procedures for the acquisition and presentation of multipoint data on the following mechanical properties of plastics:<\/p>\n
dynamic modulus;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
tensile properties at constant test speed;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
ultimate stress and strain;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
tensile stress-strain curves;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
tensile creep;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Charpy impact strength;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
puncture impact behaviour.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
The test methods and test conditions apply predominantly to those plastics that can be injection- or compression-moulded or prepared as sheets of specified thickness from which specimens of the appropriate size can be machined.<\/p>\n
