Scope<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.1<\/span> This test method covers the determination of the temperature below which solid hydrocarbon crystals form in aviation turbine fuels.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

1.2<\/span> This test method is designed to cover the temperature range of \u221280\u2009\u00b0C to 20\u2009\u00b0C; however, 2003 Joint ASTM\/IP Interlaboratory Cooperative Test Program mentioned in 12.4<\/span> has only demonstrated the test method with fuels having freezing points in the range of \u221242\u2009\u00b0C to \u221260\u2009\u00b0C.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

1.3<\/span> The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard. No other units of measurement are included in this standard.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
