It supersedes the previous edition published in 2007 as CAN\/CSA-Z7376 (adopted ISO 376:2003).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Scope<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This International Standard gives general requirements for laryngoscopes used for intubation, and specifies critical dimensions for the handle and lamp of hook-on type laryngoscopes.
