The accompanying program gives the option of basing the calculation on local skin-friction coefficient and flow conditions (determined, for example, by using the VGK or VFP programs, published in the ESDU Transonic Aerodynamics Series).  Options are also provided for calculations on an equivalent flat-plate with forced or free transition.
