{"id":584454,"date":"2024-11-05T20:39:32","date_gmt":"2024-11-05T20:39:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/iso-10990-41999\/"},"modified":"2024-11-05T20:39:32","modified_gmt":"2024-11-05T20:39:32","slug":"iso-10990-41999","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/iso\/iso-10990-41999\/","title":{"rendered":"ISO 10990-4:1999"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This part of ISO 10990 specifies methods for use in performance testing of:<\/p>\n<p>  traps used on land to kill mammals;<\/p>\n<p>  traps used in submersion sets to kill semi-aquatic mammals.<\/p>\n<p>The performance testing includes methods for evaluation of effective killing, pathological evaluation, mechanical<\/p>\n<p>properties (see note), selectivity, capture efficiency and user safety.<\/p>\n<p>NOTE ISO\/TC 191 recognizes that other trapping systems are under development but are at a preliminary stage.<\/p>\n<p>Consequently, inclusion of appropriate mechanical tests for such traps is premature at this time. Nevertheless, the committee<\/p>\n<p>recommends and supports the development of new types of traps and trapping systems together with appropriate testing<\/p>\n<p>methodologies.
