L&#039;indice d&#039;octane recherche (RON) constitue une mesure des caract\u00e9ristiques antid\u00e9tonantes des carburants dans les moteurs pour automobiles dans des conditions de fonctionnement peu s\u00e9v\u00e8res.<\/p>\n<p>L&#039;ISO 5164:2014 s&#039;applique dans une gamme d&#039;indices d&#039;octane allant de 0 RON \u00e0 120 RON, mais les essais courants se font entre 40 RON et 120 RON.
