MSC Pool<br \/>\nenables signaling connections between one BSC with multiple MSCs,<br \/>\nso the MS served by any BSC of that pool area can be served by any<br \/>\nMSC in that pool area.<\/p>\n<p>The Serving Node Selection Function (SNSF) is the key<br \/>\nfunctionality for the MSC Pool application. The main function of<br \/>\nSNSF is selecting a serving MSC within the MSC Pool for a given<br \/>\nuser, and routing the signaling between the MSC and the BSC.<\/p>\n<p><sup>1<\/sup> cdma2000<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> is the trademark for the<br \/>\ntechnical nomenclature for certain specifications and standards of<br \/>\nthe Organizational Partners (OPs) of 3GPP2.
