The<br \/>\ndefinition and description of the system in which this equipment<br \/>\noperates is given in the document TIA-902-A [1] The TIA Wideband<br \/>\nAir Interface standard TIA- 902.BAAA [2] defines the requirements<br \/>\nof both the Physical Layer and the Data Link Layer in the OSI<br \/>\nreference model for the radio interface in which this equipment<br \/>\noperates.<\/p>\n<p>Use of this standard is encouraged for any application of<br \/>\nsimilar equipment with Scalable Adaptive Modulation and may be<br \/>\napplicable to equipment other than those listed above. However,<br \/>\nthis standard is not intended to cover transceiver equipment<br \/>\nemploying any or all modulation types or access methods.
