A<br \/>\nBlank Detail Specification, from which a splice manufacturer may<br \/>\ndevelop a Detail Specification by filling in performance data on<br \/>\nhis product, will reference a corresponding Sectional<br \/>\nSpecification.<\/p>\n<p>Splices covered by this Specification fall into two general<br \/>\nenvironmental categories Of protected environment splices, and<br \/>\nnon-protected environment splices. Splices can be permanent or<br \/>\nsemi-permanent.
