{"id":693416,"date":"2024-11-06T05:32:58","date_gmt":"2024-11-06T05:32:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/ul-20962015\/"},"modified":"2024-11-06T05:32:58","modified_gmt":"2024-11-06T05:32:58","slug":"ul-20962015","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/ul\/ul-20962015\/","title":{"rendered":"UL 2096:2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<\/p>\n<p><b>1 Scope<\/b><\/p>\n<p>1.1 These requirements cover fuel burning heating appliances that are provided with or are intended for installation with NO<sub>x<\/sub> emissions reduction equipment.<\/p>\n<p>1.2 These requirements apply to factory-built equipment having inputs of more than 400,000 Btu per hour (117 KW) (firing gas), and\/or more than 3.0 gph (11.4 L\/h) (firing oil), per individual combustion chamber and\/or oil or combination gas-oil burning equipment which require flame failure and other safeguards and which are intended primarily for commercial and industrial installation.<\/p>\n<p>1.3 Equipment covered by these requirements may be operated without a competent attendant being constantly on duty at the burners while the burners are in operation.<\/p>\n<p>1.4 The heating appliance shall be suitable for installation in accordance with the National Fire Protection Association Standards for the Installation of Oil-Burning Equipment (National Fire Codes, Vol. 1), ANSI\/NFPA 31, and\/or National Fuel Gas Codes (IAS\/A.G.A.
