This is the second edition of CAN\/CSA-C22.2 No. 62282-2, Fuel cell technologies \u2014 Part 2: Fuel cell modules, which is an adoption, with Canadian deviations, of the identically titled IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) Standard 62282-2 (second edition, 2012-03). It supersedes the previous edition published in 2007 as CAN\/CSA-C22.2 No. 62282-2 (adopted IEC 62282-2:2004). It is one in a series of Standards issued by CSA Group under Part II of the Canadian Electrical Code. <\/p>\n

For brevity, this Standard will be referred to as CAN\/CSA-C22.2 No. 62282-2 throughout. <\/p>\n

The Canadian deviations are intended to
a) correct inaccuracies;
b) replace references to IEC Standards with references to CSA Group Standards, where applicable; and
c) reflect recent developments in fuel cell module technology by providing explanatory material and specifying new design options. <\/p>\n

Scope<\/strong><\/p>\n

This part of IEC 62282 provides the minimum requirements for safety and performance of fuel cell modules and applies to fuel cell modules with the following electrolyte chemistry: <\/p>\n
