This part of IEC 62946 covers 8-way shielded connectors, and is intended to specify the common dimensions, mechanical, electrical and environmental characteristics and tests for the family of IEC 62946-01 connectors.<\/p>\n
These connectors are intermateable and interoperable with other IEC 62946 series connectors.<\/p>\n
