It is specifically intended for use when it is<br \/>\nimpracticable to define acceptance\/rejection criteria for resilient<br \/>\nmembers by the use of size dimensions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The method is applicable to either male or female resilient<br \/>\nmembers. For the case of a male member, a ring gauge is forced over<br \/>\nthe member and the minimum frictional force to pull it off is<br \/>\nassessed by its ability to pick up a weight.
