The definition and description of the<br \/>\nsystem in which this equipment operates is given in the document<br \/>\nTIA-902-A [1] The TIA Wideband Air Interface standard (IOTA)<br \/>\nTIA-902.BBAB [2] defines the requirements of both the Physical<br \/>\nLayer and the Data Link Layer in the OSI reference model for the<br \/>\nradio interface in which this equipment operates.<\/p>\n<p>Use of this standard is encouraged for any application of<br \/>\nsimilar equipment with IOTA modulation and may be applicable to<br \/>\nequipment other than those listed above. However, this standard is<br \/>\nnot intended to cover transceiver equipment employing any or all<br \/>\nmodulation types or access methods.
