Description

This standard regards the consumption of electrical energy considering the life cycle costs of buildings. Only transparency in this regard leads to optimisation. The share of energy costs in the operating costs will increase in the future; the optimisation of the plants is therefore becoming increasingly important. Also mandatory in the future is the documentation of energy consumption for the fulfilment of normative requirements (for example DIN EN ISO 50001, DIN VDE 0100-801) and for compliance with certification standards (e.g. LEED, DGNB). The planning of the appropriate measurement technology and an associated measurement approach are also addressed in the standard. The standard is aimed at system integrators, planners and building operators.
