Specifies chemical, fibre and physical requirements for paper, which would be expected to survive long periods of time without deterioration if stored and used under normal library and archival conditions. Based on and reproduced from ISO 9706:1994.
Scope
This International Standard specifies the requirements for permanent paper intended for documents. It is applicable to unprinted papers. It is not applicable to boards.
NOTE 1 The terms paper and board are defined in ISO 4046.
