Scope<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n

1.1<\/span> This specification covers nickel-chromium-molybdenum-columbium (UNS N06625), nickel-chromium-molybdenum-silicon alloy (UNS N06219), and Nickel-Chromium-Molybdenum-Tungsten Alloy (UNS N06650)2<\/span><\/span> in the form of hot-worked rod and bar and cold-worked rod in the conditions shown in Table 1<\/span>.<\/p>\n

\n (A)<\/span> Forging quality is furnished to chemical requirements and surface inspection only. No tensile properties are required. Forging stock is typically supplied in the hot worked condition, (see X1.1.5<\/span>).<\/span>\n <\/div>\n
\n (B)<\/span> Annealed 1600\u00b0F (871\u00b0C) minimum.<\/span>\n <\/div>\n
\n (C)<\/span> Solution annealed at 2000\u00b0F (1093\u00b0C) minimum, with or without subsequent stabilization anneal at 1800\u00b0F (982\u00b0C) minimum to increase resistance to sensitization.<\/span>\n <\/div>\n

1.1.1<\/span> UNS N06625 products are furnished in two grades of different heat-treated conditions:<\/p>\n

1.1.1.1<\/span> Grade 1 (Annealed)\u2014<\/span>Material is normally employed in service temperatures up to 1100\u00b0F (593\u00b0C).<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

1.1.1.2<\/span> Grade 2 (Solution Annealed)\u2014<\/span>Material is normally employed in service temperatures above 1100\u00b0F (593\u00b0C) when resistance to creep and rupture is required.<\/p>\n

Note 1:<\/span> Hot-working or reannealing may change properties significantly, depending on working history and temperatures.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

1.1.2<\/span> Alloys UNS N06219 and UNS N06650 are supplied in solution annealed condition only.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
