Cross-sections and size ranges are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>round, square and hexagonal rod with diameters or widths across-flats from 2&nbsp;mm up to and including 160&nbsp;mm;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>bar with thicknesses from 2&nbsp;mm up to and including 40&nbsp;mm and widths from 3&nbsp;mm up to and including 250&nbsp;mm;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>round, square, hexagonal and rectangular wire with diameters or widths across-flats from 2&nbsp;mm up to and including 25&nbsp;mm, as well as thicknesses from 0,5&nbsp;mm up to and including 12&nbsp;mm with widths from 1&nbsp;mm up to and including 250&nbsp;mm.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The sampling procedures and test methods for verification of conformity to the requirements of this document are also specified.<\/p>\n<div class=\"non-normative-note\">\n<div class=\"note-label\">\n  NOTE\n <\/div>\n<p>Drawn, round copper wire \u2014 plain or tinned, single or multiline \u2014 for the manufacture of electrical conductors is specified in <span class=\"std\"><span class=\"std-ref\">EN&nbsp;13602<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><b>BS EN 13601.
