Description

This British Standard specifies the basic requirements and performance tests for overbed tables of the cantilever and bridge types, the former capable of adjustment in height and the latter of fixed height.

Section 2 covers overbed tables of the cantilever type and section 3 covers overbed tables of the bridge type.

Adjustable height tables may be used as overchair tables.

Tables with tilting tops are not included in the scope of this standard.
